Open to development
Open source code allows organisations to adapt F13 to their needs and contribute improvements with the community.
Find knowledge in documents, work with text and prepare workflows: F13 supports everyday work in public administrations. We integrate the AI assistant into your working environment and manage its operation.

F13 is an open-source project of the State of Baden-Württemberg. It combines AI capabilities that help staff work with text, documents and knowledge.
Open source code allows organisations to adapt F13 to their needs and contribute improvements with the community.
Capabilities run as independent microservices. The F13 stack can be extended with additional services and tools.
F13 is model-agnostic. AI models can be selected based on the task, output quality and organisational requirements.
F13 can run in your own data centre. We work with you to plan an operating environment that meets your requirements.
The agentic orchestrator selects tools and combines individual steps. We contribute to its development under MWAY’s leadership.
The orchestrator can search knowledge and bring information together for a task. Available tools are configured for your environment.
Human-in-the-loop pauses a workflow at defined points until a person approves it. People retain responsibility and make professional decisions.
Policies determine whether tool calls are allowed, blocked or require approval. They can, for example, block routes that could send internal knowledge outside the organisation.
A configured audit proxy records the communication routed through it. We agree the scope, access and retention of these records with you.
Services are selected for your use cases and integrated into the F13 stack.
Condense long texts and documents into key points to help staff get an overview.
Datastore and retrieval (RAG) make supplied documents available to AI, allowing answers to draw on your organisation’s knowledge.
Turn spoken content into text for further processing.
Translate text to support work across languages.
Create images from text descriptions, for example as drafts for internal communications.
We operate F13 for public administrations and organisations and connect the stack to the systems they already use.
We plan the introduction, set up the F13 stack and manage its operation. Together, we agree infrastructure, updates and operational responsibilities.
We integrate your identity provider (IDP) and internal knowledge sources, using existing access permissions as the foundation.
We extend F13 with services and tools for your specific tasks. Leni is one example of the individual extensions we can discuss with you.
We help select models, compare results using suitable benchmarks and set up monitoring to keep quality measurable in operation.
We bring our work on the F13 project and experience operating agentic AI applications to your implementation.
We help develop the agentic orchestrator under MWAY’s leadership and know its architecture and integration points through hands-on work.
We understand the requirements of agentic AI applications in on-premise environments and account for them in integration and operation.
Autarq is built at MWAY DIGITAL in Stuttgart. From here, we support organisations in introducing and operating their AI working environments.
